Welcome Denver is a formal networking session for new or relocated multicultural employees, representing Denver Metro Area corporations and law firms. Welcome Denver is an innovative approach to aid in the retention of ethnically-diverse employees that are high-potential, high-caliber executives. A core group of Human Resources representatives from 12 companies worked on the formation of Welcome Denver, and enlisted area chambers of commerce, non-profit organizations and universities, to facilitate and administer quarterly networking sessions. Participants include employees from MillerCoors, Qwest Communications, Wells Fargo, First Data Corp, ProLogis, Integer Group, Xcel Energy, Compass Bank, Centura Health, Daniels College of Business, Denver University, 9 News KUSA and others.
